A smartphone is no longer a luxury mobile phone; it has become a necessity in the age of globalization. It has a high-tech mobile operating system, making it a user-friendly gadget. I have been using my smartphone for the past two years, and I am completely addicted to it. Let me tour you through the wonders of smartphone and how it is a worthy buy for the businessmen and the common masses.
The most distinctive feature of a smartphone is that it enables the use of wireless communications, such as Skype, through which you can enable live video chat for business and other purposes. Parallel to Skype, there is another free feature known as WhatsApp, which can be used for sending free text, audio and video messages. Then for a traveller, a smartphone is a useful navigating device as it is equipped with the GPS facility.
I am a voracious reader; my smartphone has helped me to buy plenty of e-books from online websites, such as Buy Most Wanted Books. Sometimes when I get too tired, I take out time to download sensational music from YouTube to lighten my senses.
These are some of the features that have made me hooked-on to my smartphone. Gartner Report shows that smartphones’ sales hit a record number of 207.7 million globally in the fourth quarter of 2012, which was 38.3 percent more than the previous year. I am one of these buyers of the smartphone category of mobile phones and continue to reap numerous accompanying services and benefits.
