The foremost requirement is that your basic routine should remain the same everyday. This includes waking up early in the morning and going to bed on time at night. Some flexibility in meal-timings is usual, but too much deviation hampers the whole routine and disturbs the entire scheme of chores to be carried out. Avoid relying too much on electronic devices, especially in case of small tasks, which can be carried out manually, like cutting and grinding. Cook stuff that tastes good, but at the same time, does not add too much to your calories.
Though you’re a housewife, you should not forget going out and breathing some fresh air. Although home delivery has made things easier, but climbing up and down the stairs and walking a few miles certainly help to keep the body toned. If possible, try going for an evening walk in the park with your friend, or play badminton with your kids. This will refresh you and help evade boredom and monotony from your life. Why not try dance or aerobics, or perhaps, yoga? Celebrity mothers including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey are exemplary of remaining fit due to an active lifestyle.
